Concrete World
Love the kitsch of concrete statuary, so I had to see for myself! The selection was pretty good. They had one very large dolphin that was a mailbox holder. All the usuals, including a variety of dogs, frogs, and hogs! I bought a small standing fawn and a tiny tabletop fawn to commemorate the real albino doe I saw standing along the road near Rustburg. I also picked up a small chunky grasshopper and a large golden retriever for my friend in Virginia Beach. Prices are reasonable - the quality is good.

Concrete World
Concrete World has anything and everything concrete (4 acres of concrete statues, birdbaths, fountains, benches, etc)! There's a 4000 square foot gif shop with one room devoted to flags -- American, POW/MIA, garden flags, etc. Prices are very reasonable. I've paid higher prices in Florida for the same concrete items. This place is well known in the Lynchburg, Va area.

Concrete World
Concrete World is more than a bunch of overpriced grey conccrete. It is a wonderland of ornate lawn and house decorations. Sure, they are overpriced, but so is the art in a museum. Inside the building is the real treat, because therein lays the most random things -- from signs to battery-powered fly swatters. A fun trip if you are nearby, but do not drive at any length to visit. Although you could stop by and see the rhinocerous statues on the same road....

Concrete World
I live about 10 minutes from Concrete World. It's not the place it used to be. It's got everything under the sun, but nothing worth buying. Everything is priced too high. This place is nothing but a rock lover's fantasy land. Don't go out of your way to visit.

Concrete World
Stopped by today. Don't go out of your way to visit. No tour available. Attraction not as promising as in bygone years. Sigh. Heard there was a great concrete lawn ornament place on I-70 just outside Danville, NC (not too far south of Lynchburg, VA)
